ARKIY FÖR ZOOLOOI. BAND 14. N:o 10. Pai\asitic copepods from Japan, includiiig five new species. By CHARLES BRANCH WILSON. Ph. D., VVestfield, Massachusetts, U. S. A. With 4 Plates. Communicated October 12th 1921 by Hj. Théel and E. Lönnberg. Iiitroductory. The specimens included in the present paper were collec-ted by Dr. Sixten Bock during an expedition to Japan in 1914. There are nine vials of which two are diiplicates, leaving seven different species, and of these five prove to be new to science. The specimens are all excellently preser-ved and are deposited in the Riksmuseum at Stockholm, where they will serve as types of the new species. This collection forms a valuable addition to our know-ledge of the Japanese fish parasites since the only previous records have been a few species collected at random över a long period of years. Even the two species which are not new give us diffe-rent localities and hösts and thus add materially to the species distribution. Argulus caecus New Species. Pl. 1, figs. 1—5.
