Shell subulately fusiform, moderately solid, shining, wax-coloured; whorls lo-ii, flattish, the earlier whorls nearly smooth, the remainder sculptured -with regular, closely set, somewhat fine, transverse costulae; suture impress-ed; columella thickened, whitish, outwardly expanded, almost Terticalh' descending ; labrum thickened, scarcely reflexed, shghtly recedmg above ; aperture van* irregularly subquadrate.
