TritcEta gibbosa ( Bate) . — The male of this species which has the hand of the first gnatliopod incised on the front mavf^in, and is in fact very like the same organ in D. thea (^ , has been regarded by northern authors hitherto erroneously as the D. ilitlichonyx of Neheski. From the following references it Mould seem that Mr. Stehbing first fell into the mistake and has hecn followed by others.
