[riate VIII.] It is nearly two yoav.s since oui-last paper * upon the non-marine Molliiscan fauna of the South-African region was ])ublishecl. Since then one or two new collectors have energetically started in the field, notably Captain Connolly, whilst others, such as Mv. J. Farquiiar, are still as successful as ever in prosecutin<;-researches which result invariably iu important and valuable discoveries. Amongst those the following fourteen species have been kindly placed in our hands for description. No less than nine species o£ Ennea are here included, mostly of smaller size than usual, and also a few Ilelicoids.
