212 P H Y T L G I A Vol. 23, no. 2 campanulate, about 1 mm. long and 2 mm. wide, appressed-puberu-lent; corolla hypocrateriform, its tube slender, cylindric, about 2 mm. long, densely appressed-puberulent on the outside, more conspicuously so upwards, the limb about 8 mm. wide, densely puberulent on both surfaces . The type of this species was collected by Jos5 Schunke V. ( no. 908) in a low forest in Neshuya, at 2^0 m. altitude, Loreto, Peru, on October 2, 1965, and is deposited in the Britton Herbarium at the New York Botanical Garden.
