Moldenke LACHNOCAULON Kunth It shoiad be noted here that Stapf (1930) regards "1906'' as the proper date of publication for the Pilger (1903) work cited in the bibliography of this genus , although the United States Library of Congress catalogue card for the work retains the I9O8 title-page date. Macbride (1931) feels that Lachnocaulon , along with Syngonaxt -thug , Blastocaulon , amd Philodice , should be united with Paepalan -thus as a single genus.
