THE H&WAIIAN GENUS NEOWIMMRA (LOBELICEAE) Otto & Isa Degener Thanks to Dr. R. Melville's note (Ker Bull. 19: 206. 1965), we here belatedly typify the Hawaiian genus Neowimmeria by the species Lobelia grayana E. Wmn. (in Annal. Naturhist. Mus. Wien 56: 369. 1948) -N. ayana (E. Wimm.) Deg. & Deg. in Fl. ter. K16, March 29, 1963. The type for the species was collected by the United States Exploring Expedition of 1838-1842, and exists in fragaentary condition in the Gray Herbarium of Hrarard Univer-sity. The above typification of the genas should legitiaise the species names N. costata, N. dunbariae, . hillebrandii, N. u, aN. niihauensis, N. regyi, N. tortuosa and N. yuccoides, ail of which are new combinations proposed by Degener & Degner in the same publication on March 29, 1963.
