"Exp. al. 5 lin. ; long Corp. 3 lin. Black, covered with a hoary pile, which is much more conspicuous than usual except on the first segment of the abdomen, even covering the hind femora; a reddish dot below the-scape of each antenna; legs black; knees, tips of tibiae and tarsi testaceous; hind femora armed with about eight minute teeth.
