Metolinus javanicus sp, n. Very closely allied to parvus Cam. (described as an Oligo-linus) of the same size and colour, but a little more slender, the head obviously longer and narrower, distinctly longer than broad, the frontal sulci are obsolete as in parvus being reduced to two small inconspicuous foveae, one behind the other on each side, the punctures though equally sparing are larger and groundsculpture entirely absent ; the thorax has a dorsal row of five punctures on each side and these are larger than in parvus, ground sculpture is also absent. In all other respects similar to parvus. Length 4 mm. G. Patoeha, Preanger, alt. 7000 ft. 15-22, v. 28. Unique. Leptacinus Er. tricolor Kr. Tjilatjap, 21. XII. 26. Also in Ceylon and India. Leptacinus unicolor sp. n. Shining, black, the thorax with dorsal row of five or six fine punctures. Antennae blackish, the first two joints red-dish. Legs reddish-yellow. Length 4.5 mm. Head a little broader than the thorax, a little longer than broad, the sides parallel behind the eyes, the posterior angles broadly rounded, median frontal sulci well marked, parallel, the lateral reduced to a small fovea, disc impunctate, towards the sides with a few small punctures, yet smaller towards the post-ocular region, ground sculpture absent. Antennae scarcely differing in structure from those of parumpunctatus. Thorax about a third longer than broad, the sides a little sinuate behind, on each side of the middle with a row of five or six fine punctures, externally with three or four others in a short curved, row, ground sculpture absent. Elytra as long as but broader than the thorax, with a suturai and humeral row
