Fowler In my studies of the Indo-Pacific fishes of the family Calhonymidae, with special reference to those of the Phihppines, I found a number of interesting new species in the collections of the United States National Museum. These are described and figured herein, with the same methods employed as in an earlier paper.' Each figure is drawn in lateral view, with an insert showing a dorsal view of the head and predorsal region and a ventral view showing the under surface of the head, together with the chest and breast.
