Abstract
Sixteen species of Ichneumonidae described by LINNAEUS, GMELIN, FABRICIUS, GRAVENHORST and FÖRSTER
are revised, and some of their subsequent interpretations are discussed. Mesoleptus sticticiis sensu GRAVENHORST
nee FABRICIUS (valid name: Priopoda apicaria (GEOFFROY)) is selected as the type species for Priopoda HOLMGREN.

The type of Gelis acarorum (LINNAEUS) differs from the Interpretation of other authors, whereas the current
interpretations of Sinophorus xanthostomus (GRAVENHORST) and Ctenochira bisinuata FÖRSTER are confirmed by
the examination of the respective types. Lectotypes are designated for Ichneumon upsaliensis GEOFFROY, Cryptus
incubitor GRAVENHORST, Cryptus rufulus GRAVENHORST, Ichneumon abbreviatus FABRICIUS, Ichneumon
abbreviator FABRICIUS, 1798, Ichneumon similatorius FABRICIUS, Ichneumon indefessus GRAVENHORST and
Paniscus testaceus GRAVENHORST. A possible type for Campoplex argentatus GRAVENHORST is discussed. In an
appendix, Sinophorus confusus sp. n. is described (syn. S. geniculatus sensu SANBORNE nee GRAVENHORST).
Einleitung
Aus unterschiedlichen Anlässen wurden in den letzten Jahren einige Ichneumoniden-Arten der Autoren
LINNAEUS, GMELIN, FABRICIUS, GRAVENHORST und FÖRSTER revidiert. Die Ergebnisse dieser
Untersuchungen werden hier zusammengestellt.
